Åkarps IBK was one of 43 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during MUC 2022. They participated with one team in Pojkar -08.
In addition to Åkarps IBK, 9 other teams played in Pojkar -08. They were divided into 2 different groups, whereof Åkarps IBK could be found in Group A together with Eken IBK , Stenungsunds IBK , Särö Seahawks and Lindome IBK Lila 1. Åkarps IBK continued to Slutspel A after reaching 1:st place in Group A. In the playoff they made it to Semi final, but lost it against Landvetter IBK with 1-2. In the Final, Lindås Rasta IBK won over Landvetter IBK and became the winner of Slutspel A in Pojkar -08. Åkarps IBK comes from Åkarp which lies approximately 230 km from Mölndal, where MUC takes place.
